FAAC Keypad & Intercom Repair: The Coppell Owner’s Guide

• Keypad lights up but gate won’t open. The keypad face is sending a signal, but the receiver board or the operator’s input is dead. We test the keypad output directly before going any deeper, which saves you from buying a keypad when the problem is the operator.
• Buttons work intermittently, worse after rain. Moisture has gotten into the keypad housing or the wiring at the base. FAAC keypads are sealed, but Coppell storms push water into hairline cracks you can’t see. We check the gasket and the wire nuts at the post first.
